High Bar Squat Day - 3+ Week

High bar squat, close stance 225 x 3, 255 x 3, 275 (3+) x 10, 295 x 3

These weren't that hard, but for some reason they really aggravated my injury. Also I hit a sudden wall at rep #8, kinda like my triceps giving out on the close grip bench press... only with legs.

Mid-shin pull 430 lbs. x 6 singles

Glute-ham raise 20 total reps

I'm switching up too. Moving to the Juggernaut Method. Similar to Wendler, but more volume.
Sorry your hip hurt.

I read the Juggernaut book, seems like a solid plan. The guy who wrote it is a beast too. Only problem is, Coach might not find that program advanced enough :) Good luck.

Well, I have had good results with the Broz/Abj/Bulgarian theory. I have learned a lot and put a lot of poundage on my four main lifts. +45 squat/+55 bench/+25 press/+25 DL, but I hate DL. All within ~2mos. After summer break, I'll get back into it. I'm doing the JM specifically to help with my discus throws. Chad Smith was/is a record holding thrower.
