Diuretics

28 June 2015

Nasty hangover this morning. On the bright side, the extreme diuretics cycle I went through last night has brought my weight down to just over 204 pounds. Maybe I should write an article on booze as the miracle weight loss drug.

Bench press 245x3, 270x3, 300 (1+) x 7 reps

Joker sets 320x2, 340x2, 360x1

Should have gone for 355 on that last set and tied my 2RM PR.

Seated cable row 30 total reps

Shoulder complex x 2 sets

Wall curl 50 total reps

Pushdowns 50 total reps

Awesome job on the hangover. Result of volume or intensity?

Definitely volume. A solid 7-hour, low-intensity effort.

"Lose 2 Days and 10 Lbs. with the Fatman Diuretic Diet"

I find that I can't eat shit the next day when I drink too much. The thought of a protein shake while being very hungover makes me gag just thinking about it. Every now and then I know that it'll be a bad morning, and I won't even drink water to try and correct it; I've accepted my fate.

This is also why I don't a whole lot anymore.

Put me in the drinking is overrated crew. Sparkling water, 730 bed time, and no friends is where it's at.

I go the completely opposite way with food when hungover. I.e. wake up starving and crave fatty food every 3-4 hours or so.

Drinking is overrated, but I still have a few friends who just can't settle for 2-3 drinks.
