I tried squatting today. Legs felt fine and not sore at all from last week's low bar squat and sumo DL session. As soon as I did my first warmup squat with 135, however, it became evident that something was very wrong. I muddled through the paused high-bar squat sets and tried to eke out a few heavier reps, but didn't get very far with that.
Also did some OH presses as I forgot to do them yesterday.
Paused high-bar squat 285 lbs. x 3s x 5, then 315x3, 315x2, 335x2sx2
Standing BTN press 135x5, 155x5, 175x5, 135x2sx5
Glute-ham raise 2s x 6
Bulgarian split squats 3s x 8

what was wrong?
Brent comes back, my squats plummet.
But really, it was weird, like a tiredness / soreness that I didn't feel until I started squatting. I'll just blame the sumo deadlifts.
